Gloria Diaz starred in "Ang Pinakamagandang Hayop sa Balat ng Lupa" in the mid '70s. In 1998, she brought home the Best Supporting Actress trophy for her playing the mother in the world-acclaimed film "Rizal".

She currently has a comedy sitcom on GMA 7 entitled "Kool Ka Lang" where she plays the lady love and the only Miss Universe in the life of Mags (played by Joey Marquez).


These stamps were issued in 1994 by the Philippine Postal Corporation in which the Miss Universe Pageant was held in Manila.

The 1969 Miss Universe has grown-up kids now: Isabella, 12; Ava, 9; and adopted son Rafael, 15. The daughters’ dad is on-and-off Makati politician Bong Daza with whom Gloria is separated. All three kids live with Gloria.
